Hueber Verlag, the market-leading specialist publisher of German as a foreign language, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. A worthy occasion to reveal the soul of the Munich-based family business in a narrative concept developed by us. The content developed together with the client forms the basis of the high-quality anniversary brochure and valuable building blocks that can be told in a different media form. Short anecdotes about the leading personalities from various decades as well as historical images from the family archive convey the company’s values and create a human connection. A successful interplay of storytelling and visual language. The brand promise »Joy in languages« was staged with the involvement of long-standing business partners and employees. Among other things, »joy« is provided by an elaborate product presentation in the central altar fold, in which 100 textbook covers are arranged according to the colors of the rainbow. Other elements such as the philosophy »Languages transcend borders« and facts about the company are staged typographically. Time-bound elements of the existing corporate design were deliberately avoided and the most immovable brand style element – the Hueber red – was placed at the center. Even the linen of the Swiss brochure carries the emotional corporate color and, together with the high-quality paper selection, creates a haptic experience. For the 100th anniversary, a worthy character portrait of the company was created with emotional potential for customer loyalty.
