»Eskapaden«, is defined by the Duden dictionary as »adventurous, self-willed undertakings«. This is exactly what the excursion and hiking books in the young »Eskapaden« series are, in which we were allowed to take over the realization and production. The now around 50 volumes encourage spontaneous everyday escapes and »outdoor activities« in Germany and neighboring countries. With numerous tips from Bremen to Berlin to Lake Constance to Zurich or Vienna. Our project management ran at full speed with the »Eskapaden«: up to 6,000 illustrations were checked and supervised in repro, maps and GPS data were compared and texts were coordinated with authors, designers and editors. 22 finalized titles in parallel on three delivery dates in the shortest possible time – together and hand in hand this was possible.
