On the occasion of a major retrospective of the famous American artist Cy Twombly, the renowned Centre Pompidou in Paris commissioned us to produce a comprehensive exhibition catalog. Cy Twombly is considered one of the most important painters of the second half of the 20th century. His paintings are characterized by an immense power of color that captivates the viewer. In order to do justice to the intensity of the works, our particular focus was on excellent reproduction quality. With proof sheets in her luggage, Caroline Sieveking traveled to Paris to set up the exhibition to match the colors with the originals on site, down to the finest nuances. The result is a book with numerous illustrations that come remarkably close to the artist’s originals and convey the enormous power of the works to the whole world.
