Bauer’s Baroque Foundation

The Bauer’sche Barockstiftung (Bauer’s Baroque Foundation) follows a pronounced love for the art of the 17th and 18th centuries. The foundation’s aim is to promote and preserve Baroque and Rococo art, buildings and gardens in Bavaria. It is not only committed to the preservation of monuments, but also promotes innovation and the communication of current restoration technologies. The publication we conceived and designed depicts the funded projects from 2014 to 2018. The representatives of the foundation visited us with a suitcase full of original pigments from the Baroque period for color coordination. Small jars of luminous powders made from gemstones, minerals and other natural substances in wonderful shades of color. The project sparked a real »fire for monument preservation and restoration« in our team. With a modern design, high-quality features and first-class images, the current foundation publication documents the high level of service to monument preservation, which was honored with the Monument Preservation Medal in 2020.
